DIGITAL TACHOGRAPHS

My clients wanted a means of merging the data from the Digital Tachograph with results from ongoing Tachograph Charts Analysis, and seeing the results on one set of reports.

In response a number of solutions have been developed to enable the analysis and secure storage of data from the Driver Card and the secure storage of Vehicle data from the Vehicle Unit.

There were several vital elements that dictated what was required
1. Continue to produce clear & concise reports, as they are now.
2. Capability to merge analogue charts & digital data.
3. Keep it simple.

To summarise then

I can:

Analyse your analogue tachograph charts
Analyse your digital Driver Card records
In the absence of the Driver Card, analyse Vehicle Unit print out
Merge analogue and digital data together and produce one set of reports
Produce your Working Time report
Archive analogue tachograph chart data and retain securely for 12 months
Archive raw digital tachograph data from Driver Cards and retain securely for 12 months
Archive raw digital tachograph data from Vehicle Unit and retain securely for 12 months
If you already have a means of downloading data from the Driver Card and Vehicle Unit and you require analysis and archiving only - I can do that for you.

Please take a moment to look at which solution could be the right one for you.

And don’t forget that no matter what you require I can probably tailor a unique solution for you - Just ask.

Thank you for visiting my site

DIGITAL TACHOGRAPHS - ANALYSIS & ARCHIVING

Digital tachographs record data onto Driver Cards and into the Vehicle Unit.
The data needs to be extracted from both and securely stored for 12 months.
Analysis is still required to check for compliance with Drivers Hours Rules.

Liz Staples is pleased to offer the following solutions:

ANALYSIS OF DATA FROM DRIVER CARD

Solution 1 - No purchase of special equipment required.
Ideal for 5 drivers or less. If you are within 10 miles of my office, I will visit you every 3 weeks to download data from Driver Cards, return to my office analyse the data for compliance, produce the reports and either post or email them to you.
Total yearly cost £525 for 17 visits.

Solution 2
As Solution 1 except that you download Driver Card data every 3 weeks maximum to your PC. I will visit every month to copy the data files from your PC and produce the reports and either post or email them to you.
Analysis cost per daily record £0.20

Solution 3
For a fleet of any size located anywhere. You download Driver Card data every 2 weeks to your PC. The data files could then be copied to an ordinary memory stick & posted or sent to me via email. I will produce the reports and either post or email them back to you.
Analysis cost per daily record £0.20

Included with all 3 solutions
I will archive raw digital data files and keep them secure for you for 12 months.
I will archive analogue tachograph chart data and keep for 12 months for you.
Cost of archiving data - Included in figures above.

MIXED FLEET OF ANALOGUE AND DIGITAL TACHOGRAPHS

If you have a mixed fleet of analogue and digital tachographs I am able to merge the data to produce a single set of reports covering the whole fleet.
In the event of a lost or damaged driver card I can extract the data required from the printout produced by the digital tachograph unit, again merging with the analogue and digital data.
Analysis cost of analogue charts £0.40 per chart
Analysis cost of digital records £0.20 per daily record
Analysis cost of printouts £1.75 per printout

SECURE ARCHIVING OF VEHICLE UNIT DATA

It is a requirement that the data from the Vehicle Unit is downloaded regularly and securely stored for 12 months.

It is a simple process to extract the data files, copy to a PC and then copy to an ordinary memory stick & post to me, or send via email so that I can store them for you in a secure database.
This process could be carried out weekly, monthly or quarterly, whatever you desire.
Cost of securely storing Vehicle Unit data £0.40 per vehicle per download.

RETRIEVAL OF ARCHIVED DATA

If you are asked by an enforcement authority to produce archived data for them to ‘inspect’ during a forthcoming visit, simply email or telephone and I will email the relevant data files to you.

OPTIONS FOR ALL SOLUTIONS

I can also produce for you Working Time Directive (WTD) reports.
If you would prefer receiving the reports via email I can produce them in either .doc or .pdf format.

DATA DOWNLOAD DEVICE

A combined Driver Card / Vehicle Unit data download device is available for £325.
